Development Environment (IDE) Permissions FAQs

Frequently asked questions for the Development Environment (IDE Permissions) guide.

Why is each project listed under "Project Management" authorized separately?

What permissions are required for Task Manager operations?

Each action in Task Manager (View, Start, Stop, Logs) has a separate permission. Grant only the specific actions required for the users role.

Can users manage tasks without having full IDE access?

Yes. Task Manager permissions are independent and can be assigned without full IDE access. This enables monitoring or operational roles without development rights.

Why can't a user access the Flow Manager?

To use the Flow Manager, the user must be granted Project Management > Flow Manager. Without this, the module remains hidden even if the user has general IDE access.

Why do users need "IDE Access" to access the development interface?

Without the IDE Access permission, users cannot open or interact with the developer interface. This permission is mandatory for any project or workflow development act
